Why are my rankings drastically dropping?
Ryan: Hi, my name is Ryan Schweppe and I am an Account Manager at The Clix Group. We wanted to let you know that recently we’ve seen some changes in Google’s search engine rankings.
Now, while fluctuations do normally occur, the level to which we are seeing rankings change, along with the fact that Google has recently released their new Webmaster Guidelines and some content around high and low quality links, all would suggest Google has activated their most recent Penguin Update.
Previous Penguin Updates generally targeted website with low quality or “spammy” links. Now, since Google’s main goal is to serve up high quality, highly relevant content, it would make sense to boost the rankings of websites that acquire their links through best practices – Be it linking to partnerships, sponsorships, news features, whatever it may be.
Now, while a lot of this is speculation, the purpose of this video to let you know that we have seen some recent changes, we’re monitoring them, and any conclusions that we draw that may affect your campaign, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Thank you and happy searching!
