Tommy: Hi, my name’s Tommy and I’m the PPC manager here at Clix and I’m here to talk to you today about Ad Copy.Your Ad Copy will appear on the search engine results page or on Facebook or wherever you’re placing that ad.
Ad Copy is really important because you only have a limited amount of space to get your point across to the user. So you really need to make sure that you’re cramming it with as much content as you can in the shortest available space. The cost of your ad will vary depending on your ad rank, quality score keyword bids, and a lot of other factors. So each add will cost a different amount on Google because each click costs a different amount.
The space for your ads is limited on Google and you can only use 30 characters in your headline, and you get two headlines, and you can only use 80- characters in your description. You want to include as much information as possible in your ads. Especially, a call-to-action. So if your goal is to get the user to call you, you need to include that in your ad copy and say, “Call now,” or “Call today.”
